while we wish we could buy directly from farmers, at this point buying from trusted importers is the best way for us to ensure that we are getting the highest quality coffee, while also fairly compensating farmers. we are lucky to live so close to Oakland, a major coffee port in the US. this makes it easy for us to source great coffee from many importers in the Bay Area.

sustainability should be at the forefront of everyone’s mind. at DREAM coffee we use compostable bags and labels made from 100% recycled paper and are always looking for areas in which we can increase efficiency and decrease waste. using an electric roaster we are able to decrease our reliance on fossil fuels and will be able to transition to all renewable energy when the time comes.

like a dream, great coffee is experienced only in the moment. a brief experience, difficult to describe once gone yet leaving a lasting impression.
not only do we dream of great coffee already enjoyed, we also dream of a better future and even greater coffee. coffee made greater by a collective vision of uplifting everyone involved in every step of the process of dream-worthy coffee.
DREAM coffee aims to produce dream-worthy coffee by preserving the inherent beauty and qualities present in the seed. we are strong believers that coffee has its peak potential when picked and can only decrease in quality thereafter. it is our duty to maintain and shape that initial quality into a great bag of coffee, amplifying what was already there.
